During Edward reign between one third and half the population die from the Bubonic Plague (Black Death)
As a result of the Black death Labour becomes scare and serfdom disappears, wages increase.
England gains Naval victories over the French and Spanish gaining Naval supremacy

1346 Edward wins battle of Crécy while outnumbered 3 to 1
