History:

Roman remains have been found on the site of the church. A saxon church probably stood here as some of the lower stonework is from the Saxon period and the vilage of Edenham is mentioned in the Domesday book of 1086 but a church is not. The font is probably 12th century. The south aisle was built in the 13th century and the porch added in about 1350. The tower and Nave roof were constructed in the 15th century, with wooden angels bearing shields and green dragons set in the centre.
